The day has finally arrived. After around eight months of planning, training and preparation, the Team Endeavour Sea to Summit Fuji Challenge is officially underway.

The training is done. The kit is packed. The logistics are in place. Spirits are high, and everyone is buzzing to finally get started and find out what lies ahead.
Ryan headed out slightly ahead of the main team, choosing to fly directly to Tokyo. Travelling with mobility equipment always brings an added element of risk, so avoiding connecting flights, tight transfers and additional baggage handling seemed like the sensible option.

Their card was a really nice touch with one of our Sea 2 Summit flyers being passed around the plane throughout the flight with a few donations being made via the our Just Giving campaign, found here:

Meanwhile, the rest of the team are currently somewhere between Dubai and Tokyo, with around six hours of flying still ahead of them before they touch down in Japan.

Then the adventure really begins.
There has been an enormous amount of work behind the scenes to get us to this point, and we can’t wait to start sharing the journey with you as it unfolds. Thank you so much to our 2 corporate sponsors for helping to make all of this possible.

For now, we’ll leave you pondering on when is the right time to make a donation or help raise our profile by sharing our blogs on your own socials. Thank you!
Sea to Summit is finally happening. 🇯🇵🗻
