THE VISION
For many Armed Forces families, rest is not a luxury — it is a necessity that is often completely out of reach.
Team Endeavour’s vision is to create a dedicated respite lodge — a place where military families and veterans can step away from everyday pressures and focus on what truly matters: time together.

Rapid Response
Short-notice stays for families facing sudden crisis or hardship

Funded Breaks
Fully funded or heavily subsidised breaks for eligible families

Natural Setting
The Lake District — space, tranquillity and connection to nature

Dignity First
A respectful, private experience that places wellbeing first

THE LOCATION
We are incredibly fortunate to have access to an area of land in the Lake District, generously offered by long-standing Team Endeavour supporters Mark and Jenny Lee,
at Torpenhow Farm, Wigton.
The Lake District’s natural environment offers:
• Space, tranquillity, and connection to nature
• A setting proven to support mental wellbeing and recovery
• Accessibility for families across the UK
This location provides a unique opportunity to build something truly special — a permanent legacy that serves families for years to come.
HOW IT WILL WORK
• Fully funded or heavily subsidised short breaks for eligible families
• Rapid-response stays for families facing sudden hardship or crisis
• Simple referral process through Team Endeavour and trusted partners
• A respectful, private experience that places dignity and wellbeing first
• “This is not just a building — it is an investment in healing, resilience, and hope.”

HELP US BUILD IT
We are now raising funds to bring this vision to life. Every donation made through the Mount Fuji
challenge brings the Respite Lodge one step closer to reality.
